Old theology. You manage to utter so succinctly in this poem the wild naked truth of god that we hide from because it is too vast to be contained in our pea sized brains. Thank you
This reminded me of Rich Mullin’s intro to “Holy Pretenders” in the Bellsburg Sessions’ release of the song. Beautifully done. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hey and hello! It is indeed open to anyone wanting to submit. There should be info on that available, but I’ll see if I can drop a contact or something here. In the meantime, pull out three or four poems and start polishing!
thank you!! let me know! I've checked several times and didn't see a submission link on their website. I think I'm a current member but can check; maybe there's a link for RR members
Wild-fire Lion. That whole section gave me chills. 🔥
Thank you fellow Cottage member!
a wild fire-lion with no
earthly cage, spitting light and
life all over, treading pitch-black
terror underfoot, making
breakfast by our lakes,
whispering our full names.
What a beautifully haunting description of our Lord.
Alas, I have seen the Wienermobile only once, and only in passing, but it was a sight to behold, for sure.
Lift up your head, your head be lifted up...maybe the Weinermobile draws nigh again.
"We want more of you as long as the stretching of our minds doesn't cause a headache." I'll sit with this for a while.
These are so wonderful. Will revisit.
Power and profound. ✨👏
I really appreciate that you came into the land of rabbits to read this Kate! And your support means an awful lot to me.

Hey, thank you for reading!
The second stanza of the first poem... I want to hang that up somewhere in my house. The Lion who whispers my name. <3
Thanks a lot! Hanging this up in your home could be arranged. ;)
Is it for sale as a print somewhere?
If you are on Instagram, you can see a lot of my work @jjbrinski and/or DM to purchase a print version.
Thanks for sharing, Josh. I love it.
Yes! I do typewriter versions of all my poetry and sell those.

I will definitely be coming back to reread this one.
Thank you so much! That is very kind of you to say.
This delights me so much every time I read it. 🔥🔥🔥
This is INCREDIBLE. The energy and control is gorgeous.
Also, is there a way to submit poetry to The Rabbit Room? Or is it just RR connections who get published?
