UMMM Tyler this is amazing!!! the dreamy wonder of it heightened and balanced by the grounded realism and acknowledgment life is both ugly and beautiful, and the playfulness - it's a poem of *vision* which is my favorite type of poem. Wonderful
I hear this in your voice, Tyler! It’s lovely—and timely, as I could smell the blackberry bushes and honeysuckle near the garden this morning. 🥰 I also love the sound of “sough” 🫰🏼Thank you for this!
I can see two rabbits playing outside, "like infants off to kindergarten" as I read. That line makes me want to join them, to stay a student of the world at play. Also "sough" is such a lovely word.
So lovely! The feel of your poetic voice is amazingly sensuous and even instructive! It challenges to a more daring/vulnerable exploration of Creation! Thank you!
